The royal ginger genes sure are strong!

Prince Philip looks exactly like his grandson, Prince Harry, in a 1957 French magazine cover shared by Getty royal photographer, Chris Jackson, on Instagram on Tuesday.

"Just spotted this handsome chap on the front of an ancient copy of @parismatch_magazine in deepest, darkest France," Jackson captioned the nearly 60-year-old cover shot, before challenging his followers to identify the handsome royal. "Who do you think it is?!"

Jackson also tweeted the photo joking that the magazine’s "handsome cover star" made him do a "double take."

From his red hair and scruffy beard to his military uniform, the Duke of Edinburgh's resemblance to Harry is almost scary, and Jackson’s social media followers were rightfully freaking out over the similarities.

"It's Prince Phillip? Or it is Harry doing a spot of time travel?" a fan wrote underneath Jackson's post.

"Wow just like his grandfather," added another, while a Twitter user was clearly shocked by the throwback pic. "I thought that was Harry!"
