Ronda Rousey is almost done.
The 29-year-old fighter discussed her upcoming UFC return on Tuesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she admitted that as she gears up for her comeback, she's also been preparing for the end.
"Not that long, I'm wrapping it up. This is definitely one of my last fights," the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion shared with host Ellen DeGeneres, when asked how much longer she'd continue to fight. "Everyone better watch! The show isn't gonna be around forever."
That being said, Rousey is physically and mentally ready to get back in the ring to fight Amanda Nunes in the athlete's first match since her heartbreaking loss to Holly Holm in Melbourne, Australia, last November.
"I feel good...I've trained twice a day since the beginning of August. So I finally feel like in super ninja good mode," Rousey said while describing her training routine, which includes "running, jumping, climbing trees."
And while Rousey did admit to some pre-fight jitters, she explained, "It's the buildup that's more tiring than everything else."
"If it just happened right now, I wouldn't be nervous at all. It's the waiting," she added.
One thing that's keeping Rousey's spirits up in the meantime: her fellow UFC boyfriend, Travis Browne!
"He's amazing," she raved, before describing a sweet moment the couple recently had together.
"We went to the dog park, and there was this bench that's covered in dirt and rain. He scoots, and cleans the whole thing with his butt for me," she recalled. "I feel like that's the modern-day equivalent for laying your coat down over a puddle."
She's a lover and a fighter!
Rousey's UFC return is set for Dec. 30.
