"I dated [Cera] for a long time," Plaza told RuPaul when the host admitted he found the actor to be "sexy."

"What's a long time for someone your age?" RuPaul followed up.

Plaza, 32, explained that she met Cera, 28, while shooting 2010's Scott Pilgrim in Toronto, and their relationship blossomed from there.

Plaza denied that was the case and insisted that Cera is still "very special" to her.

"We love each other," she said. "We're still really good friends. He's just a weird little freak and we speak the same language. He's one of the funniest people I know."
