Ariana Grande, John Legend and The Weeknd to Perform at 2016 American Music Awards

The American Music Awards are shaping up to be a majorly star-studded affair.


Ariana Grande
is set to take the stage with her "Side to Side" collaborator, Nicki Minaj, during the Nov. 20 awards ceremony, airing live at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. In an announcement released on Thursday, John Legend and Shawn Mendes were also added to the performers lineup.

In a separate announcement on Facebook Live, it was revealed that eight-time AMA nominee The Weeknd will also perform. Watch below as a super-fan gets some Weeknd-themed permanent ink to break the news!

Previously announced performers for the 2016 AMAs include James Bay, Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Bruno Mars, Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers and Halsey, and The American Music Award of Merit honoree, Sting.
