"My sources tell me that Meghan did get to meet William and Kate," Nicholl says. "But sadly, there wasn’t enough time to meet Prince Charles."
Markle, 35, is currently back in Toronto, reportedly on hiatus from her USA Network show Suits until January, but Prince Harry's schedule could keep them apart for a little while. He launches a 14-day tour of the Caribbean on Sunday. Still, Nicholl is sure they will spend more time together before Christmas.
"My sources are telling me that as soon as he is back, they will see each other," Nicholl says. "One thing is for sure, this is definitely a couple that cannot bear to be apart for long."
Harry confirmed his relationship with Markle in an official statement last week, condemning those who have harassed and verbally abused her.
The 32-year-old prince feels "very disappointed that he hasn't been able to protect her fully,” according to Nicholl. British tabloids are reporting
that Prince Harry is even ready to hire a personal bodyguard for Markle when she is in the U.K., which prompted more speculation about how serious their relationship really is and whether there could be another royal wedding in the near future.
"If they do get engaged, then Meghan will be assigned a personal protection officer from the team of expert police that guard the royal family," Nicholl explains. "They're called Special Officers 14 and they're from a special division of the metropolitan police."
During Markle's London visit, the actress managed to stay under radar and was only snapped once while bringing back grocery bags to Prince Harry's home in Kensington Palace. She was dressed casually in a black coat, leggings and knee-high rain boots.
