Lady Gaga endured a "frustrating day with chronic pain," but she managed to keep a positive outlook while getting treatment on Thursday.

"Having a frustrating day with chronic pain, but I find myself feeling so blessed to have such strong intelligent female doctors," Mother Monster captioned a snapshot from the doctor's office before sending a shout-out to her late aunt, Joanne, for whom she named her latest album.

"I think about Joanne too and her strength and the day gets a little easier. Plus I got @wanaynay by my side," Gaga wrote of her manager, Bryan Campbell, closing out the post with the lyrics from her "Hey Girl" track featuring Florence Welch, "'Hey Girl, we can make it easy if we lift each other.'"

Of course, any kind of discomfort is the last thing Gaga needs as she prepares for the Super Bowl halftime show in February. The 30-year-old singer recently gave a breakdown of how she wants fans to react to the highly anticipated performance.

"I want every guy's girlfriend in his arms," she explained to Radio Disney in September. "I want every husband and wife kissing…every kid laughing. In my mind, they're having this really powerful family experience watching the Super Bowl."
