"It's not funny to joke about anyone's possible or not possible mental illness, this is a sensitive time for many," she first tweeted. "Let's be kind & loving."

"While I don't agree with everything he does I hope the public shows compassion and [love] for @kanyewest and each other. One love. One Race," Gaga continued.

"@kanyewest i support & love u brother, I see in you bravery & courage to stop this tour & take care of YOU," she concluded. "You are a GREAT artist."

Gaga can definitely relate to the need to take time off. The singer recently took a hiatus before creating her latest album, Joanne.

"I was able to get off the train of endless work I’d been on, which was quite abusive to my body and my mind, and have some silence and some space around me," she wrote in an essay for Harper's Bazaar. "I wanted to experience music again the way I did when I was younger, when I just had to make it, instead of worrying what everybody thinks or being obsessed with things that aren’t important."

Meanwhile, a source tells ET that West is "doing much better" after his hospitalization, adding that his wife, Kim Kardashian West, is supporting her husband 100 percent.

"He just needed some rest," the source says. "[Kim] is currently with Kanye right now at his side. Kim feels more connected to Kanye than ever. Their marriage is doing great."
