Whether you believe in true love or not, there's one thing we can all agree on: these wedding dresses are ah-may-zing.
Celebs pulled out all the stops this year to make sure that they not only had the perfect day but also the perfect gown, calling in big names like Victoria Beckham, Jenny Packham, and Vera Wang to make them stunning numbers for their nuptials.
Though all of the looks were gorgeous in their own right, there was two clear themes to 2016's gowns: boho chic and luxe glam. In fact, quite a few ladies even combined the two, which meant miles of jaw-dropping lace and plenty of intricate beading and florals that beg for a closer look.

1. Eva Longoria
It pays to have Victoria Beckham as your BFF! For her May 21 wedding to José Bastón in Mexico, Longoria walked down the aisle in a curve-hugging, custom-made silk crepe dress created by her good friend. "I asked Victoria to do my dress because I wanted it to be special and made with love, and I knew that Victoria would make it with love," the actress told Hello! magazine. "Victoria was one of my witnesses, too. She signed the paper that says I was here, so it was a Victoria Beckham weekend."
2. Italia Ricci
Hello, princess! The Designated Survivor star took our breathe away in this strapless James Clifford ball gown worthy of Cinderella for her Oct. 15 wedding to The Flash star Robbie Amell.
Ricci actually found her dress while filming scenes for her last TV show, Chasing Life. "It's funny, because when we were shooting the scene of April trying on wedding dresses, in between takes we were at a bridal shop, so I was looking around. I was like, 'This is convenient!' And I found my wedding dress," she told ET in January. "I bought my wedding dress from the place where April was trying hers on."

3. Audrina Partridge
When Patridge exchanged vows with love Corey Bohan in a picturesque, beachside Hawaiian ceremony on Nov. 5 -- which she described as"magical" -- her Pallas Couture gown perfectly fit the pair's low-key, hippie-adjacent aesthetic. Her custom-made spaghetti strap dress, created in Australia, featured lace detailing along the bodice, which seamlessly flowed into the delicate train.
"The vibe I was going for was Boho Glam -- I wanted it to feel beachy but also fancy and romantic, and they completely nailed it!" the former reality star wrote on her blog this week. "I felt like a princess!"
4. Nicole Johnson
With a dress this breathtaking, why would you want to keep your wedding quiet? Four months after the beauty queen secretly tied the knot with Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, the pair celebrated with a beautiful ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Oct. 30. Johnson wore a gorgeous, custom Julie Vino Bridal gown that featured an intricate lace cut-out bustier with a sweetheart neckline and a curve-hugging skirt with a thigh-high slit.

5. Kaitlin Doubleday
There's enough drama on Empire, so it's only fitting that Doubleday's wedding look was carefree and elegant. The actress walked down the aisle in a custom floral lace gown by Mark Zunino Atelier with cap sleeves and an open back for her outdoor ceremony to fiancé Devin Lucien in Big Sur, California on May 6.
She later changed into a cocktail dress, also by Zunino, for the party. "I needed classic and beautiful, and then I need to wear something risque and fun, so I did both," she told ET. "Mark Zunino made it from beginning to end. It took months and meeting with him, and it was one of the most awesome processes of this wedding.”
6. Ciara
This dress was as gorgeous and unique as Ciara herself! The R&B singer had a picture-perfect British wedding (in a castle!) to Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, thanks in part to her custom long-sleeved gown designed by Peter Dundas that featured a low-cut neckline, sophisticated lace detailing, and a delicate bow belt.
"I just want to take this moment to say THANK YOU for being a part making this day perfect for me, and bringing my dream dress to life!!" she told the designer in an Instagram post shared on July 10, four days after her and Wilson's ceremony. "All the Face time calls, meetings, sketches, multiple fittings from NY to Milan were worth it! You are the sweetest soul, and one of the most talented human beings I know. Love you."

7. Anna Camp
Aca-mazing! Camp couldn't get enough of the pretty princess-style, custom-designed Reem Acra confection she donned for her Sept. 10 wedding to Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin in Santa Ynez, California. "In love with my @reem_acra dress," she captioned a photo of herself on Instagram, showing off the back of the dress. "Thank you @highheelprncess for everything! @rodortega4hair and @jennstreicher I love you all so much! @tessalynevents Thank u for making our dream day beautiful."
8. Cam
The "Burning House" singer was on fire when she tied the knot with Adam Weaver on Oct. 24. The California natives wed in an intimate ceremony in the desert town of Joshua Tree, where Cam glowed in an ethereal, short-sleeved Jenny Packham dress covered in lace and floral appliqués. "It reminds me of a dress from the '30s, and I love things from the '30s," the country crooner told People.

9. Eniko Parrish
Can you tell Parrish is a model? At her lavish Santa Barbara, California, ceremony to Kevin Hart on Aug. 14, she smoldered in a custom Vera Wang silk crêpe gown that hugged her curves perfectly. The gorgeous V-neck dress featured hand embroidered French Chantilly lace appliqués, a French tulle mermaid skirt, and silk-covered bridal button accents.
10. Nikki Ferrell
Forget winning Bachelor -- Ferrell's wedding to Tyler VanLoo in Kansas City, Missouri, on Oct. 8 was truly the top prize. The reality TV alum looked positively dreamy in a strapless mermaid dress featuring an embellished bodice, sweetheart neckline, long tulle train, which she teamed with a Veronica Couture veil and Lindsay Marie Design headpiece.

11. Dianna Agron
Who says a bride has to wear white? The Glee star paid tribute to her childhood dance roots with an unexpected long-sleeved, nude-hued Valentino gown inspired by ballet dancers for her nuptials to Mumford & Sons banjoist Winston Marshall on Oct. 15. The high-cut, bead and sequin-embellished tulle dress, which was paired with a crown of silver stars, was especially fitting for the wedding location: Morocco.
12. Morgan Stewart
The two-piece dress Stewart wore when she wed boyfriend of nine years Brendan Fitzpatrick in Santa Susana, California, on May 7 was a showstopper -- and an accident! The Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star described the Badgley Mischka lace top and silk skirt combo as a "wedding outfit," telling PeopleStyleshe found it just as she was about to give up the search for her perfect dress.
"The shirt was actually originally going to go over the dress that I chose, and I was going to take it off for the ceremony, and then I was looking around the store at Badgley Mischka and I saw the skirt, and I was like, 'Wait… what is this?'" she explained. "She was like, 'Oh somebody's coming in to look at that.' And I was like, 'No they're not, this is what I'm going to wear for my wedding. The top actually flipped the other way originally, and it was loose cause it was supposed to be a mini jacket. So I basically transformed it into a top with the boys [Mark Badgley and James Mischka], and then I had them remake me this skirt to perfection."

Sorry, Gwen and Blake! Even the hottest country-pop couple around couldn't steal the show from RaeLynn, who said "I do" to fiancé Josh Davis at a private farm in Franklin, Tennessee, on Feb. 27. The "God Made Girls" singer glowed in her white embellished gown, complete with cap sleeves, tulle skirt, and incredible lace detailing across her back.
"The back's my favorite," RaeLynn told ET last year about the dress. "It's very me. It's a big dress, it's not, like, mermaid fit. I didn't really want sleeveless, so I did more of a sleeve thing. It's just so beautiful!"
14. Maci Bookout
The Teen Mom OG star put her own spin on a traditional wedding gown, opting for a dusty rose hue for her strapless lace-and-chiffon Riki Dalal Haute Couture gown for her Oct. 8 ceremony with boyfriend of four years, Taylor McKinney, at Honey Lake Resort in Florida."Maci didn't want classic white," designer Dalal told Us Weeklyof the gown, which was paired with a long, matching veil with lace detailing and pearls.
