It's been a tough few months for Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian West, but while some reports are claiming they're headed for divorce, a source tells ET that the couple is "more in love than ever."
"Kim and Kanye are 100% together," the source says. "Not only is the rumor that they are splitting not true, but so is the report of them living apart."
That being said, the source previously told ET that the couple's busy schedules can sometimes put a strain on their relationship as they "spend a lot of time apart, given the nature of both of their careers."
"They are like any normal couple where they do have to work at their marriage, and they do," the source added. "Kim and Kanye’s marriage is doing fine."
Reports that Kim and Kanye were on the verge of a split started popping up when the 39-year-old rapper was hospitalized for nine days at UCLA Medical Center after sources claimed he suffered from "severe paranoia" as well as "sleep deprivation and exhaustion" just before Thanksgiving.
Kanye was released just days prior to his son Saint's first birthday, and according to the source, he is "happy to finally be back home."
As for how Kanye's doing following his release, ET's source now says that he's "receiving outpatient care every day" and "a doctor comes to the home to check on him."
The source also confirms that both Kim and Kanye are taking the rest of the month off from work. "I think it’s safe to say that Kanye won’t be actively working for the rest of the year," says the source. "In terms of the [Life of Pablo] tour, it is over. Those close to Kanye are hopeful he will listen to the doctors and take a real break."
"When doctors tell you to stay home and rest, most people do, but Kanye is a different beast," the source continues. "The person that comes out of Kanye when he’s not sleeping and is stressed is not the person Kanye wants to be. It’s not who he is. That’s something that he is very aware of and he wants to make it better."
