Kim Cattrall's recent Instagram post will have Sex and the City fans wanting for a third sequel more than ever.
The 60-year-old actress excited her social media followers on Wednesday when she posted a video as her beloved character from the HBO series-turned-films. "My first Boomerang, Honey! Channeling Ms. Samantha Jones once again," she captioned the gif.
ET recently spoke to Cattrall's co-star, Sarah Jessica Parker, about the possibility of a third SATC movie, and she seemed optimistic.
"We have this very long and honored relationship with those women and men that watched our show," the 51-year-old actress, who portrayed Carrie Bradshaw in the series, explained. "We aren't casual about it and we have to know that we are offering up something that is deserving of their time and affection and dollars for tickets. So we consider all those things. That means we aren't being flighty with them. It's not on the table. It's in the warming drawer."
In a 2014 interview with ET Canada, Cattrall said that she wasn't sure if a third film was necessary. "I feel the most important thing is always, do we have something left to say?" she noted. "I think it's about the story, if there's something more to say ... [but] I'm not a writer and I don't work in a studio."
