Jennifer Lawrence is really sorry.

The 26-year-old actress took to Facebook to apologize after some were offended by a recent story she told on the Graham Norton Show about scratching her butt on the rocks of a sacred Hawaiian site.

"We were filming in Hawaii and there were sacred rocks. You're not supposed to sit on them," she explained on the talk show last week. "I, however, was in a wetsuit... Oh, my god, they were so good for butt-itching."

"One rock... ended up coming loose," she continued. "It was a giant boulder, it rolled down this mountain, and almost killed our sound guy."

In her Facebook apology on Friday, Lawrence said she only intended to be "self-deprecating" with her story.

"From Jen, to the internet," she began her apology. "I meant absolutely no disrespect to the Hawaiian people. I really thought that I was being self-deprecating about the fact that I was 'the curse', but I understand the way it was perceived was not funny and I apologize if I offended anyone."

While Lawrence is usually known for giving a little TMI, her Passengers co-star, Chris Pratt, has been making headlines for a few antics of his own.

The 37-year-old actor has been poking fun at Lawrence while the two promote their new movie by hilariously cropping her out of photos on his Instagram.
