The actress and her musician husband enjoyed a baby shower with a Christmas twist.
Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley are getting ready for “baby boy Kelley!”
The couple enjoyed a fun, holiday and mountain-themed baby shower on Dec. 3, with Heigl sharing all the cute details over the weekend.

“My mother very graciously threw Josh and I the most beautiful and celebratory baby shower last weekend,” the 27 Dresses star wrote on her blog, Those Heavenly Days. “She asked me for some direction on the decor and the vibe I was hoping for, so I headed straight to Pinterest to cultivate a look for the shower that spoke to not only the holidays, but also our mountain home in Utah where the baby will be born.”
The couple are already parents to two daughters, Naleigh and Adalaide, and are due to welcome baby number three around Christmas.
Channeling the rustic feel of the family's Utah ranch, the party’s tableware featured deer antlers, pine cones and rattan place mats, along with milk bottles doubling as vases.
Holiday-themed cocktails were served at the open bar, while the menu featured a stunning cake, reading “Baby Kelley,” and adorned with a rocking horse on the top. The cake was just the thing to satisfy the sweet cravings Heigl confessed she’s been experiencing during her pregnancy.
The former Grey’s Anatomy star’s mother toasted the couple by reciting a William Wordsworth stanza. Along with other family members and close friends, the guest list also included Heigl’s Doubt co-stars, Dule Hill, Laverne Cox, Lauren Blumenfeld and Kobe Libbi.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without a goodie bag, and attendees left with cute baby-themed cookies!

Heigl couldn’t have been more thrilled with how the shower turned out, crediting her mom’s impressive efforts and noting how important the holidays are to her family.
“The Christmas holidays are a pretty big deal in my family and not only will we now be celebrating our babies birthday around Christmas, Josh and I also celebrate our wedding anniversary December 23rd,” she wrote. “So it’s a month full of joy and gratitude for us for many reasons!”
