The 45-year-old actress is choosing to look at the bright side while undergoing cancer treatment.
Despite dealing with the trials of radiation treatment during the holiday season, Shannen Doherty is choosing to see the silver lining.

The 45-year-old actress posted a moving photo of her and her mother, Rosa, on Instagram detailing "another day of #radiation" and followed up with her exciting afternoon plans Christmas shopping for her husband, Kurt Iswarienko.
"Today my mom came with me because even though I'm so tired after, I'm going Christmas shopping!!! Got to get @kurtiswarienko a present!! I love the holidays," she captioned the snap.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star has been battling breast cancer for more than a year and a half and recently revealed that she underwent a single mastectomy last spring.
"I had breast cancer that spread to the lymph nodes, and from one of my surgeries we discovered that some of the cancer cells might have actually gone out of the lymph nodes," she told ET. "So for that reason, we are doing chemo, and then after chemo, I'll do radiation."

The actress has been surrounded by an amazing support system throughout her cancer treatment, including her mom, who can often be seen lovingly caring for her daughter during radiation appointments.
