Lena Dunham can thank her boyfriend for an insane-looking piece of face gear. The 30-year-old actress was giving major RoboCop vibes in a new snapshot wearing a therapy acne mask that was a gift from her beau, Jack Antonoff.

"Saw the ad for the light therapy acne mask and became obsessed so when we got home from our journey it was waiting on my side of the bed," Dunham captioned a photo wearing the mask on Wednesday. "Thank you @jackantonoff, even if you just did it to amuse yourself,"
She later updated the post to note that the $35 mask wasn't a "fancy awards prep tool."

Skincare wasn’t the only gift on Dunham's list over the holidays. The Girls star fulfilled her "lifelong wish" of becoming a mermaid, and she added photo proof. On Sunday, Dunham Instagrammed a topless beach photo wearing a blue fin which she captioned, "And then she got her holiday wish aka her lifelong wish…we wish you a mermaid Christmas."
