Heather Locklear is looking towards a fresh start in 2017.

In response to rumors that she had entered rehab for the fifth time, the 55-year-old actress gave a statement to ET, saying, "I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead."

Locklear's drug-addled past includes a hospitalization in 2012 when a 911 call was placed from her home. At the time, a source told ET the Spin City star was "out of control."

"Heather became a different person on drugs," the source said.

Locklear had been in and out of rehab for years, but lately has been finding steady work and avoiding negative headlines.

Her next project is season two of Too Close to Home, which premieres Wednesday on TLC.
