NASCAR Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Marries Amy Reimann in New Year's Eve Ceremony

The 42-year-old athlete announced that he and Reimann were engaged in June 2015.

The NASCAR driver said "I do" to girlfriend Amy Reimann on New Year's Eve in a beautiful ceremony at Richard Childress' Childress Vineyards in Lexington, Virginia, the couple announced on Sunday.

"Happily married!!! What an amazing experience," Earnhardt wrote on Twitter, alongside a sweet image of the couple from their wedding day. "Looking forward to the rest of our lives @Amy_Reimann. #honeymooners."

Honeymooners Earnhardt and Reimann certainly are -- despite a little snafu with lost luggage.

"I can't wait to see my luggage again! @Delta sent it on a personal trip of its own to get to our final destination. I hope," the 42-year-old athlete tweeted on Tuesday, to a prompt reply from the airline.

Earnhardt revealed that he and Reimann were engaged in June 2015.

"Looking forward to the rest of my life with this amazing girl," he tweeted at the time, while his ladylove shared a photo of the two -- and her engagement ring -- on the social media site.

"I'm completely overwhelmed with love and joy. Happiest girl in the world! I love you so much @DaleJr," she gushed.

While Earnhardt tied the knot on New Year's Eve, Sam Hunt just got engaged to girlfriend Hannah Lee Fowler, the singer's rep confirmed to ET on Tuesday.
