After three days of guest-hosting Today, Katie Couric is feeling a little sleepy.

The 59-year-old journalist, who has been filling in while Savannah Guthrie is on maternity leave, shared the less glamorous side of morning shows with a makeup-free mirror selfie on Wednesday.

"Day 3 of @todayshow time to make the donuts. #firstmirrorselfie#lastmirrorselfie #omg,” Couric captioned the early-morning snapshot of herself holding up a peace sign while rocking plaid pajamas.

On Monday, Couric kicked off her temporary return to Today alongside Matt Lauer and the rest of the morning show crew. Despite the early schedule, Couric appears to be having a blast.

"Happy to help Matt celebrate the big 20, (His @todayshow anniversary, not his bday!) and fun to be with the gang!" she wrote next to a candid pic from her first day back on set.

And she's not just taking over the anchor seat. Couric jokingly called the shots in the control room, and conducted an interview with Alec Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, while doing a headstand.

Following her departure from Today in 2006, Couric went on to become the first female solo anchor of CBS Evening News. She also hosted her own talk show for two seasons, before joining Yahoo News as a global news anchor in 2014.
