Back on the grind! Kim Kardashian is making her first big trip abroad since her traumatic Paris robbery in October.

The reality star boarded a plane to Dubai on Wednesday, teasing the outing on Instagram.

“On our way #dubai,” she captioned a photo with Scott Disick.

The Selfish author will be a guest in makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic’s masterclass on Friday, which marks her first public appearance since October.

Kim also Snapchatted from the plane, teasing her fans.

“Most people think I just have good genes,” she said, in a video clip captioned, “Ain’t no shame in my game. #LasersOnThePlane.” “So, I want to introduce you guys to my good genes who I travel with to Dubai, Dr. Orion.”

The mother of two wore oversized glasses in another Snapchat, saying, “See, I got my laser goggles! All you need laser goggles. When you do a laser treatment, these are perfect for plane lasers.”

Kim has slowly been returning to the spotlight over the past three months. She shared her first photos on social media just after the start of the year and has continued to post family snapshots online.

Progress has also been made in finding the people responsible for her robbery. Earlier this week, 17 people were detained in France in connection to the incident. Among those, including the chauffeur that the reality star was using at the time and two others have since been released, a spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor confirmed to CBS News reporter Elaine Cobbe on Wednesday.
