When she's not busy literally burning down the patriarchy as the mother of dragons, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke is steadily becoming quite the movie star. Following the success of last year's weepie, Me Before You, she landed a role in the Star Wars spinoff about young Han Solo. Before that, she has something completely different in store: a thriller called Voice From the Stone.

EXCLUSIVE: 'Game of Thrones' Star Emilia Clarke Spills on the End of the Series: 'I Hope Dany Wins the Whole Damn Thing!'

The period film, which is adapted from an Italian novel by Silvio Raffo and co-stars Marton Csokas (The Lord of the Rings and, more recently, Loving), centers on Clarke's Verena, a nurse hired to help a young mute boy living in an isolated castle in Italy.

As the official synopsis reveals, though, "Verena becomes convinced he has fallen under the spell of a powerful and otherworldly persona trapped in the villa's stone walls, one that seems to be rapidly entwining with her own."

If that all sounds dark and spooky, well, it makes sense then that the movie features music from Amy Lee of Evanescence. And if these first-look photos are any indication, it seems the film will also show a more seductive side to Clarke:
