The British host publicly condemned the marches and called for a 'Men's March.'

Ewan McGregor is taking a stand against Piers Morgan. The T2 Trainspotting actor took to Twitter on Tuesday morning to reveal that he was skipping his appearance on Good Morning Britain for a very specific reason.

“Was going on ‘Good Morning Britain,’ didn’t realise @piersmorgan was host. Won’t go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch,” McGregor wrote.

Morgan, whose current Twitter avatar features a photo of himself and Donald Trump, replied, saying, “Sorry to hear that @mcgregor_ewan – you should be big enough to allow people different political opinions. You’re just an actor after all.”

Morgan’s co-host, Susanna Reid, who often shares drastically different opinions from Morgan, also replied to McGregor with a different take, tweeting, “Such a shame. Challenge views where there’s difference. Would have liked to see that debate on air – it’s an important one. #WomensMarch.”

Reid also defended herself after several critics said she didn’t speak out enough against Morgan’s controversial views.

“I’m a feminist. #WomensMarch = powerful way to protest Trump’s comments & highlight issues. But @piersmorgan’s views are also widely held,” she wrote.

Morgan first voiced his opinion on the topic over the weekend when he tweeted in opposition to the global Women’s Marches.
