One of the men that allegedly robbed Kim Kardashian West in Paris, France, has reportedly told police how the heist came about, and what is left of the jewelry that was stolen.

In excerpts reportedly taken from a police testimony and published in the French newspaper, Le Monde, Aomar Ait KIhedache, 60, claims that all of the jewelry taken from Kardashian West was melted down and sold in Antwerp, Belgium, with the exception of her 20-carat emerald cut diamond engagement ring, which is estimated to be worth $4 million.

"For the jewelry never to be recognized, we made the decision to melt them,” KIhedache said, according to the newspaper. “One of the people took care of it. He came back with bars … in all, there had to be 800 and a few grams, which gave an amount of ah … 25,000 or 28,000 [euros], something like that.”

As for the whereabouts of the engagement ring, he reportedly told police, "There is a person who has it. Everyone was afraid to sell, because it’s a stone that’s very easily spotted."

KIhedache, who is known as "The Old Man," also allegedly admitted to planning on robbing Kardashian West at an earlier date and having intel about her schedule while the 36-year-old reality star was attending Paris Fashion Week, according to the newspaper.

"She specified that she didn’t wear fakes, the schedules when she came to France,” he reportedly said. “It was enough to look on the internet to know everything, absolutely everything.”

The alleged robber reportedly told police that the group was not prepared for the media firestorm that surrounded the robbery, which he referred to as a "very simple affair."

Earlier this month, the police report from Kim's robbery was obtained by Le Journal du Dimanche, and detailed her initial account of the crime. "I saw two men coming who were hooded, plus the hotel receptionist who was strapped; one had a ski mask and a cap and jacket with 'Police' written on it and one had ski goggles. He snatched my Blackberry," she stated in the report, according to the newspaper. "I was wearing a bathrobe, naked underneath. They pushed me on the bed and strapped me with plastic cables, taping my hands, mouth and legs. They carried me into the bathroom, more specifically, the bathtub."
