When the 28-year-old actress visited The Tonight Show on Monday, host Jimmy Fallon reminded her that other famous sitcoms like Seinfeld, Cheers, and Friends also held the once-coveted position.

To pay tribute to one such series, Hudgens and Fallon sang an acoustic rendition of the Friends theme song, “I’ll Be There For You.”

The High School Musical alum got into the performance, while wearing a cabernet-colored cutout dress, one year after starring in Fox’s Grease Live!

The anniversary of the widely praised musical is also a painful one for Hudgens, who lost her father one day before taking on the role of Rizzo in the live production.

Hudgens took to Instagram on Monday to remember her father, in a touching post.
