Miranda Kerr is stoked for Super Bowl LI!

ET caught up with the Australian supermodel over the phone on Tuesday, where she couldn't stop gushing about the big game. It will be an extra special experience for Kerr as she's starring in a Super Bowl commercial for Buick alongside NFL pro Cam Newton.

In the ad, titled "Not So Pee Wee Football," a young player on a pee wee football team and his coach magically transform into the Carolina Panthers quarterback and Kerr, respectively, proving that just like the car company's Encore SUV and Cascada convertible models, things aren't always what they seem.

"The Super Bowl and the Super Bowl ads are such a big part of American culture," Kerr, 33, told ET of what originally drew her to the project. "When they approached me and they explained the ad and the creative, and the little pee wee football team, Buick's car and the way it was all going to be played out, I was like, 'Aw, that is so cute and so fun.' Buick makes such a beautiful, timeless car and they [have] such great performance, so I was like, 'Of course I'd like to be a part of this.' It's just incredible."

The Victoria's Secret model said it was actually her first time meeting Newton, and the two had "so much fun," enjoying a lot of laughs on set.

"We did a lot of behind-the-scenes shooting in the car and dancing around the car, and he was just very playful, so it was fun, very good," she explained. "He had a lot of fun with the little pee wee football team. They were just absolutely adorable! They took it very seriously, and it was so cute to see them interact with Cam. It was a beautiful day and luckily we escaped the rain. Everyone just had a lot of fun."

Kerr revealed she'll be rooting for the New England Patriots on Sunday, and will be hosting a party at her Los Angeles home to watch them hopefully defeat the Atlanta Falcons. Since she recently revealed her ex-husband, Orlando Bloom, is "like a brother" to her, we had to ask if he and his new girlfriend, Katy Perry, are invited to the bash.

"I don't know, actually, we haven't planned on it but yeah, we have like a bunch of friends coming over," Kerr, who shares 6-year-old son Flynn with Bloom, dished. "It will be fun! It will be a good game."

And according to Kerr, her guests are in for a treat!

"I'll be cooking in the kitchen, getting everything prepared for everyone," she revealed. "I'll probably do nachos, guacamole and maybe some beef sliders."

While the brunette beauty is excited to watch the game and see her new ad air during a commercial break in the first quarter, she's also pumped for Lady Gaga's highly anticipated Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show.

"She is such an incredible performer, so I'm excited to see what she's going to do," she exclaimed, telling ET that last year's show, featuring Coldplay, Beyoncé and Bruno Mars, was one of her all-time favorites. "It was incredible to see them. That was awesome!"

After game day, Kerr will be busy getting back to wedding planning. She announced via social media last July that she's engaged to Snapchat co-founder and CEO Evan Spiegel, and gave us an update on what she's doing to prepare for her upcoming nuptials.

"It's coming along, that's about all I can say," she told ET on Tuesday, laughing. "It's very exciting."
