Amal turned 39 on Friday, and celebrated with a trip to Spain with her husband, George Clooney. The couple was also accompanied by the actor's parents, Nina and Nick.

The human rights attorney was spotted departing the airport on Friday, bundled up in a black coat, a gray turtleneck dress, tights and leopard-print wedge boots, while 55-year-old George went casual in jeans and a black leather jacket.

On Thursday, Amal spoke at the ADP ReThink Human Capital Management conference, where she spoke about what role business can play in advancing human rights. The keynote address was moderated by her father-in-law, Nick, who's an award-winning journalist.
