Fashion is more than just a look! Katie Holmes stepped out on Thursday night in NYC for the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women Red Dress Collection 2017.
The Dawson’s Creek star, 38, rocked a stunning fringe-covered Marcesa gown to the event, and had some fun in the dressing room before stepping out on the carpet.

Holmes also had a blast in the dress, doing a slow-motion shimmy in the embellished ensemble for an Instagram video.

After the event, Holmes went out for dinner with pals at Tao in New York.

Keeping with the red theme, Holmes rocked a red striped shirt, writing, “Happy Valentine’s weekend. #commesdesgarcons #play.”

Holmes is all about having fun these days. Last week she enjoyed a family day at an amusement park with her daughter, Suri Cruise, and her two cousins.
