Houston died in 2012 after drowning in a bathtub in a hotel room in Beverly Hills, California, just one day before the GRAMMYs. Her daughter, whom Gordon was engaged to, died in 2015, a few months after she was found face down in a bathtub in the home she and Gordon shared.

Gordon, 26, was found liable for Brown's death in September 2016, and was a no-show at the hearing on the civil lawsuit filed against him by the state. In November, he was ordered to pay over $36 million in the wrongful death suit.

Gordon, meanwhile, continued to post pictures of himself and Brown, and shared intimate photos of the two just one day before the two-year anniversary of her hospitalization.

"You're the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about before I go to sleep," he wrote alongside the pics. "I love & miss you RIH my angel."
