Jennifer Lopez is opening up about her relationship with Drake -- kind of.
During a Tuesday appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Lopez is grilled on her recent rumored romance with the 30-year-old rapper, spilling details of their "songwriting" relationship.
"Who did you spent Valentine's Night with?" DeGeneres asks the blushing "Ain't Your Mama" singer, bringing up a picture of Drake. "Was it this guy?"
"No, he's off on tour right now," Lopez answers, without batting an eye. "We did a song together."
"I'm just asking if you're songwriting, is that how you write a song?" DeGeneres pushes, displaying a snap of Lopez cuddled up in the rapper's lap.
"We were not writing a song right at that moment. We were just hanging out," the 47-year-old singer explains, refusing to admit to any romance. "Actually he sent me a song that he wanted me to be on, and then I got on the song, and yeah, we have a song together."
During the interview, Lopez also opens up about her tendency to date younger men.
"First of all, stop! I don't date younger men. I don't think men have to be younger. It's not about that," she says. "I just meet people, and if I go out with them, I go out with them, And if I like them, I like them, and if I don't, I don't. It's about the person, you know what I mean? It's about who they are. It has nothing to do with age!"
"There's this thing, because I dated Beau [Casper Smart], and he was younger, and he was the first guy I ever dated who was younger than me, but then I got labeled right away," she shared.
"For me, it isn't [about age]. If they're older, they're older. If they're younger, they're younger," she continued. "It depends on whether or not I'm attracted to their spirit, their soul, their whatever… their energy."
While we patiently await Lopez's collaboration with Drake, a source revealed to ET
earlier this month that their romantic relationship has "fizzled."
"She likes Drake," a source close to the Shades of Blue star said. "They're just busy, so it has fizzled. She's a mom with an insanely busy career. He's touring in Europe. Who knows what will happen in the future when they're more able to be in the same place."
