Dev Patel is one happy man!
Just one day after attending the Oscars -- he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Lion -- the 26-year-old actor was spotted out and about in Hollywood, California, on Monday, with his rumored new girlfriend, Tilda Cobham-Hervey.
The duo, who are co-stars in the upcoming Anthony Maras -directed drama, Hotel Mumbai, were all smiles as photographers snapped their pic. Patel opted for a cool and casual ensemble, sporting gray slacks and an olive green sweater, while his beauty donned skinny jeans and a long jacket over a powder blue button-up shirt.
It appears Patel even brought along his mother, Anita, for their fun, post-Oscars day out!
Patel and Cobham-Hervey were first spotted hanging out at the Weinstein Company's pre-Oscars bash at the Montage Beverly Hills in Los Angeles on Saturday, where guests were treated to Grey Goose cocktails.
"I personally witnessed Dev and Tilda holding hands while standing up at one point during the dinner," an eyewitness told ET. "They kept a distance from each other during the cocktail hour so as not to attract attention but left caution to the wind during the dinner. They spent the rest of the night exchanging cute furtive smiles with each other and seemed to be excited about their budding romance."
When ET caught up with Patel at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in January, he joked about all the attention he's received about his looks following the release of Lion.
"It's very overwhelming and strange because I've always been the dude that never got a girlfriend in school," he explained. "I was kind of the awkward outsider. So not that it's changed much but I'm still the same. I feel the same."
About a week before Patel's interview with ET, he and Cobham-Hervey stopped by Oh Dough Mumbai, a cookie shop in Kalaghoda, Mumbai, during a break from filming, according to a caption from the company's Instagram.
As we patiently wait for an official comment from Patel on his relationship status, watch the video below to hear him gush about the No. 1 lady in his life (his mom!) while chatting with ET on the red carpet at the 89th Annual Academy Awards.
