The Today show got one special visitor on Friday!

Savannah Guthrie, who returned to her hosting duties this week from maternity leave, surprised fans when her 3-month-old son, Charles “Charley” Max, made his first television appearance on the show.

Guthrie was also joined by her husband, Michael Feldman, and 2-year-old daughter, Vale.

“It’s so exciting. I just had to show them off,” Guthrie said to co-hosts Matt Lauer, Carson Daly and Al Roker.

“I’m so happy and we have the best time," she continued. "I ended maternity leave this week and I thought, ‘Well, this is what I’ve been doing! I’ve been hanging out with these wonderful people.’”

Guthrie isn't the only new mom in the Today show family. Last month, co-anchor Hoda Kotb announced she adopted a baby girl, daughter Haley Joy!
