Lupita Nyong'o and her Black Panther co-sta
, Danai Gurira, threw a joint birthdayo ver the weekend in honor of their 34th and 39th big days respectively, and the theme to mark the occasion was Coming to America
-- Eddie Murphy's instant classic 1988 comedy!
"We love #ComingToAmerica this much! Joint birthday party shenanigans with @danaigurira @kaluuya. #WakandansInZamunda," Nyong'o wrote on Instagram, "Wakandans" of course being a reference to the fictional African nation in Marvel lore.
Check out more photos Nyong'o posted of the party, which was also attended by "queen" Janelle Monae and Black Panther himself, Chadwick Boseman, and seriously seems to have been the best time that can be had.
Gurira also shared sweet birthday wishes to her friend and co-star on Instagram, writing, "Happy birthday to my beautiful, talented, kind friend @LupitaNyongo! Today is your day!"
Meanwhile, Nyong'o recently immortalized her face -- by getting it made into a molding.
