Hopper Penn is opening up about his darkest days.

Hopper Penn made it through his darkest days after an ultimatum from his dad.

The 23-year-old son of actor Sean Penn posed for the U.K.'s Evening Standard, where he opened up about his past battle with meth addiction, as well as how his father's tough love helped him find his way.

"I was doing a lot of stuff but meth was the main one that brought me down," Hopper revealed. "I went to rehab because I woke up in a hospital and my dad said, 'Rehab? Or bus bench?' I was like, 'I’ll take the bed.'"
