Kristen Bell Shares Dax Shepard's Hilarious Review of 'Hamilton' After Seeing the Musical for the First Time
Though his wife voices Princess Anna in Frozen, Dax Shepard isn’t the biggest fan of Broadway musicals. But that didn’t stop the CHiPs star from accompanying his love, Kristen Bell, to her first viewing of the hit show, Hamilton.
The couple left their two kids, Delta and Lincoln, at home for the fun date night, which Bell captured on her Instagram.

“Mommy and Daddy's night out!!!! #hamilton the musical is gonna bring the party! My excitement cannot be contained and full disclosure I cried during the opening number,” Bell captioned one clip.
In the video, the actress shows herself and her hubby in their seats at the Richard Rodgers Theater in NYC.
“I’ve got chocolate-covered blueberries and the cutest man in town!” Bell said.
“Where? Where?” Shepard asked, jokingly looking around.
“We’re seeing Hamilton. I’m so excited!” Bell squealed.
She then updated fans about the show at intermission, posting another video.
“Here's an intermission review from @daxshepard- who, hates all musicals and loved this one. I was moved to tears 5 different times. My [love] was singing the whole time. Every single performer was perfection. The band was divine. BRAVO to every hand involved. Thank you @lin_manuel for all energy it took to bring this story to stage. #hamilton #hamiltoe,” Bell captioned the video.
And though Shepard isn’t a fan of musicals, he seemed to enjoy the songs in the rap-heavy show about the Founding Fathers.

“I wish there was more singing,” Shepard insisted.
“And what would your alternative title to the show be?” Bell asked.
“Hamiltoe because of the outfits,” Shepard quipped.
