Now hiring! Someone to handle the millions of enrollment forms that are about to bombard Thomas’s Battersea School in London, following news that Prince George is set to start school there later this year.
Prince William and Kate Middleton announced their schooling plans for the 3-year-old prince via a statement from Kensington Palace on Friday.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will send their son, George, to Thomas's Battersea from September 2017 this year,” reads the press release. “Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have found a school where they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education.”
Naturally, the school’s headmaster, Ben Thomas, is thrilled.
“We are honored and delighted that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have chosen Thomas's Battersea for Prince George,” said Thomas. “We greatly look forward to welcoming him and all of our new pupils to the school in September."
The news comes after the family shared in January that they would relocate from their primary base of Norfolk to Kensington Palace in London, where Prince George will start school and Princess Charlotte, 1, will enter nursery.
The Duke and Duchess were delighted to have the opportunity to introduce Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the people of Canada. It was wonderful for George and Charlotte to get to play with children from Canadian military families. Thank you to the Military Family Resource Centre and the team at Government House, Victoria. We hope everyone enjoys the photos! #RoyalVisitCanada
No doubt the school is set to become one of the most popular in the U.K!
