Nothing makes celebrities happier than April 1st, when they whip out their best tricks and wait for the public to eat up their lies.
Katy Perry took to Instagram on Saturday to play a trick on her followers by (fake) announcing the album artwork for her fourth record: an old pic of herself lounging around in her sports bra.

"I'm proud to announce the cover for my 4th album!," she wrote alongside the pic before revealing the whole thing was a joke. "Happy April Fools! Been plotting in the same type of sports bra from my IM and laminated calendar since 99' It's all about the long game."
Gigi Hadid, too, used Instagram to facilitate her trickery, posting a shot of herself with super-short, Yolanda-like hair.
"✄ ✄ ✄," she captioned the shot, later adding: "happy April foolz fwends ;) :P."
