The 38-year-old reality star opens up to ET about marriage and family.

Kim Zolciak Biermann is loving life, but having trouble finding "alone time" with husband Kroy Biermann.

"The kids are a little bit older, they’re not babies anymore," the reality star tells ET's Brice Sander of the couple's younger kids, 5-year-old KJ, 4-year-old Kash, and 3-year-old twins Kane and Kaia. "It's definitely a little harder not having the babies, and them being a little bit older, with KJ in kindergarten and Kash in pre-K, driving them to school, picking them up. Trying to find some alone time is not…as easy as it was when they were babies, ‘cause at least they took naps."

"But, life is really good. Arianna's in a good place, Brielle's doing well," she adds of her 15 and 20-year-old daughters from a previous relationship. "I'm healthy, Kroy's healthy. I don't think it gets much better than that."

Even with six kids to keep them busy, things are still "pretty awesome" for the duo, who will mark a milestone next month.

"It'll be seven years in May [since] I met Kroy," Kim says. "That still blows my mind, I don’t know why."

Kim also opened up about Kroy’s career plans since being cut by the Buffalo Bills last September, and how he’s been helping out with the her Kashmere Kollection beauty line and other businesses.

"Football is where is heart's at for sure," she notes. "He's played for so long, and would love to play this year. If it works out, great. If not, I love him being at home and helping me with all that I have going on. He takes the kids to school every morning, and he’s picking them up. He’s helping me run Kashmere, and KZB Kids' Shoes, and I started a bathing suit line. It’s craziness...he’s helping me run all those and I can’t imagine not having him, to be honest."

In fact, Kroy has become Kim's unofficial assistant, until she can fill the position. "My husband's my assistant, my baby daddy, my best friend, you know, he kinda plays all these roles," she explains. "Kroy plays a really big role, honestly, in all that."

And while Kim admits that her hectic life can "definitely be overwhelming at times," she loves being busy.

"Very rarely do I just go to sleep right away. My brain is constantly going," she shares. "It's not a bad thing. One day, I might be bored."

Kim will make her return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the Bravo reality show's season finale airing on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
