Tom Hardy is bringing action movies into his real life!

The Mad Max: Fury Road star put on a display of big screen heroics recently while apprehending an alleged motorcycle thief in London, the BBC reports.

According to the publication, Hardy grabbed one of two teenagers who fled after the stolen bike ran into a vehicle, while the other was apprehended by police.

"He went off like a shot in pursuit and looked furious," a witness told U.K.'s The Sun. "I asked Tom what happened and he told me he chased him through my back garden and caught him around the block -- but the route was like an assault course."

"We can confirm that there were two people on a stolen moped that went through a red light and crashed into another vehicle," a spokesman for Richmond police noted. "The males ran off and one was detained by Tom Hardy."
