The former 'America's Got Talent' host also reveals the "most diva thing" he's ever seen the singer do.

Nick Cannon admits that he sometimes sleeps over at Mariah Carey's house but never in the same bed.

While on Thursday's The Wendy Williams Show, Williams grilled the former America's Got Talent host about his extremely amicable relationship with his 47-year-old ex-wife, and point-blank asked him if he and Carey are "still sleeping together."

"There would be nothing wrong with that, but that’s not the case," Cannon responded, adding that he has "nothing but unconditional love" for the mother of his 5-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.

"I mean, she’s gorgeous but, you know, I’m respectful," he continued. "I put the kids to bed and I go home."

Williams also said she blamed Cannon for Carey's breakup from billionaire James Packer and, most recently, backup dancer Bryan Tanaka, claiming that Cannon is "always around."

"I wanted her to be with a billionaire!" he exclaimed. "More yachts for everybody!”

When Williams predicted that Cannon and Carey will be a couple again in five years, the 36-year-old star quipped, "You're speaking this into existence! I spoke the marriage into existence."

As for Carey's "most diva" moment, Cannon joked that it was when she gave birth to their twins. "She shut the whole hospital down," he recalled. "When they were born, she made me play music as they was coming out. It was [her song] 'Fantasy.' They was dancing to 'Fantasy.'"

In all seriousness, Cannon -- who just recently had a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Brittany Bell -- was adamant that he has a "love frequency" with Carey. "I feel like when two people are in a relationship it should be about growth.” he shared. “It should be a situation where everyone’s becoming a better human being in the relationship. So when you get to a point where there’s no longer any growth and you’re not bettering each other, I felt like it was probably best, especially for our children, since they’re the number one priority, if I could be the best human being and the best father from outside of that house.”

In an exclusive interview with ET earlier this month, Cannon gushed over Carey. "That's always my dream girl," he said. "Like, to me, just because we're not intimate, I'm closer with her than probably I've ever been just based off of that's my family, that's the mother of my children."
