"Never better baby!!!!," Hill wrote alongside an intimate Instagram snap of McGraw kissing his wife on the forehead. "Happy 50th Birthday my love. This world is a better place because of you. I know you are having one of the best days of your life!!!!!"

The couple spent McGraw's special day in Indianapolis on their "Soul2Soul" World Tour, where fans showered the "Humble and Kind" singer with birthday love, including the "Happy Birthday" song led by Hill.

At a press junket for The Shack, starring McGraw, the country superstar opened up to ET's Nischelle Turner about entering a new decade of life.

"You know, do you ever really know who you are?" he said. "I find out something different everyday that surprises me. I do not like that part of me, but I think the thing about the 40s that are so cool is that you still feel like you are young enough to take on the world. You got a little knowledge required. But I am looking at 50 at being the new 35."

McGraw continued, saying that turning 50 feels like a fresh start. "So I am going to be 50, thinking you have all the knowledge you need at this point, but you still feel like you are still young enough to conquer the world," he said. "But we will see what happens. [My 40s] were the time in my life [where] I actually started getting my life together. [For my 50s], I am going to go off the rails again."

Hill -- who turns 50 in September -- takes a slightly different view on aging, counting each day as "a blessing."

"I honestly don’t pay attention to [aging]. If I did, my girls would notice and I don’t want that. It’s not a message I want them to have. The secret is being confident -- with your age, with yourself," she shared in the recent Spring/Summer issue of NewBeauty, referencing her three daughters with McGraw -- 19-year-old Gracie, 18-year-old Maggie and 15-year-old Audrey. "Life is so precious. We only have one; what’s the point of stressing about all of that?"

"Each decade has been different. Each day is a blessing. That’s how I want to look at it," Hill added.
