The 'Talk' co-host says that Ozzy is 'trying to be a better person.'
Sharon Osbourne had to fall back in love with her husband, Ozzy, after his affair last year nearly ended their marriage.
The Talk co-host opened up about reconciling with Ozzy after his infidelity, and how the two repaired their relationship on Friday's episode of the CBS talk show.
"35 years with someone is a hell of a long time. And I think I fell out of love with my husband and then fell back again," Sharon explained.
Sharon and Ozzy broke up last May after 33 years of marriage following reports that the Black Sabbath musician had an affair, allegedly with his hairstylist. In July, the former America's Got Talent judge publicly forgave her husband, announcing that the two would attempt to reconcile.
“I forgive. It’s going take a long time to trust, but we’ve been together 36 years, 34 of marriage," she said on the show. "I just can’t think of my life without him.”
On Friday's episode of The Talk, Sharon explained how she fell in love with Ozzy once again "just months ago."
“[I] probably, really, just months ago [fell back in love] because he was trying so hard to be a better person -- desperately trying, working his program, working with his therapist every day and trying so hard,” she told Julie Chen.
“I just had a newfound love,” she continued. "And I respected him because he’s seriously trying to be a better person.”
ET caught up with Sharon and Ozzy's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, last month, who revealed that her parents couldn't "love each other more."
“I've never seen two people who love each other more, who were more meant for each other than my mom and dad,” she said, before opening up about the new diamond ring her dad presented her mom in October.
“He was so excited about giving her the ring,” Kelly dished. “And, every time they're out, I'm like, ‘Dad, you got to be more gentle with mom's hand,’ because he's holding her hand like, ‘Look! Isn’t it great?’”
