The 37-year-old actor has plenty of tricks up his sleeve.

Chris Pratt is all about family time.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, where he explained how having his wife, Anna Faris, and 4-year old son, Jack, join him on his international press tour has resulted in a lot of fun.

“On this most recent press tour, they’ve been able to come with me and it’s been really great,” he told DeGeneres.

“Because I’m with Anna in these foreign locations, I have someone who really cares deeply about culture,” he continued, explaining how Faris plans excursions for the family. “So, I’m able to enjoy the time much more.”

He also revealed how the two get pretty competitive when they read bedtime stories to Jack.

“We’re strangely competitive with each other when it comes to entertaining him,” he said laughing. “I’ll read the left page [of the book] and she’ll read the right page. I [add] a little accent for the character and she’ll start gesticulating and laughing, before long we’re not even paying attention to whether he’s [paying attention].”
