The happy news comes just one day after Perri's powerful 2011 single "Arms" made a comeback in the iTunes Top 40 after a super emotional performance of the song by a 13-year-old girl named Evie Clair on the latest episode of America's Got Talent.

"ARMS just made a light comeback to the top 40 on itunes! how fun! thanks everyone," Perri wrote on Instagram hours before her big engagement ring reveal.

Clair wowed the AGT judges on Tuesday with her cover of the single, which she explained is the song she sings to her dad whenever he's having a tough time during his battle with stage-4 colon cancer.

"I sing him this song to help him feel better, and just to give him comfort and strength to continue fighting," Clair explained.

Perri thanked Clair on Twitter Tuesday night, writing, "Hi, @evieclair! thanks so much for choosing my song for this special moment in ur life! ur incredible! im sending so much love to u & dad."
