Barack Obama is making the most of his time out of the Oval Office!

The former president took his family river rafting in Bali during their trip to his childhood home of Indonesia.

The former president and first lady, 16-year-old Sasha and 18-year-old Malia had a blast as they rafted down Bali's Ayung River on Monday.

Obama moved to Indonesia in 1967 at age 6 after his mother, Ann Dunham, remarried an Indonesian man. He returned to the United States at age 10, to live in Hawaii with his grandparents.

According to the Associated Press, the former president, who arrived in Bali with his family on Friday, is expected to travel with his half-sister, Maya Soetoro-Ng to Yogyakarta, where his mom did anthropological research. 

While Obama was all about his family's adventurous excursion, he also doesn't mind playing Instagram husband. See him take tons of cute pics of former first lady Michelle during their April vacation to French Polynesia in the video below.
