Britney Spears paid tribute to one of her biggest fans who recently died.
The 35-year-old singer took to Twitter on Wednesday to share her condolences after hearing that her fan, Joseph Hernandez, who went by Tristan Spears, died unexpectedly.
"Just heard the sad news about one of my biggest fans," Spears tweeted. "My heart goes out to Tristan's family, friends and the #BritneyArmy."
According to Billboard, Hernandez, 32, was found at his home on June 7 by his partner, Anthony Losoya. His cause of death is unknown.
Spears is currently on her Piece of Me tour overseas. Earlier this week, the pop star addressed lip-syncing accusations, saying that "it really pisses me off" that people don't believe that she sings live.
"A lot of people think that I don’t sing live. I usually, because I’m dancing so much, I do have a little bit of playback, but there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback," she said during an interview with an Israeli TV show. "It really pisses me off because I am busting my a** out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it, you know?"
