Kevin Durant is a reigning NBA champion and Finals MVP, but that didn’t keep him out of the crosshairs during host Peyton Manning’s monologue at the 25th annual ESPY Awards on Wednesday night.

Durant, who signed with the Golden State Warriors last summer before helping lead the team to their second championship in three years, didn’t appear to take kindly to Manning’s crack that he was looking to jump to another winning squad: the U.S. women’s gymnastics team.

“The Final Five won the most Olympic medals of any women’s gymnastics team ever. [They were] so dominant that Kevin Durant told me he wants to play for them next year,” Manning said in his monologue, before the camera cut to an irritated-looking Durant.

Manning then doubled-down on the joke, tossing to Durant’s former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate, Russell Westbrook, who looked just as unamused.

While some fans on social media posited that KD’s reaction was a pre-planned deadpan, the basketball star took to Twitter after the bit to share an straight-faced emoji, even after winning the ESPY for Best Championship Performance.
