Ariana Grande Responds to Being Named Honorary Manchester Citizen: 'Words Don't Suffice'

It’s been almost two months since the horrific terrorist bombing at Ariana Grande’s Manchester concert and the English city certainly holds a special place in the singer’s heart. The 24-year-old was named an honorary Manchester resident on Wednesday.

Early Thursday morning, Grande responded to the honor on Instagram, posting a screenshot of the news.

The May 22 attack took the lives of 22 people and injured many more. Grande returned to the city for the One Love Manchester benefit concert, which raised more than $13 million for people affected in the suicide bombing.

Grande is the middle of her Dangerous Woman tour and performed in Mexico on Wednesday night.
