Luann D’Agostino doesn't deny that she and husband Tom D’Agostino argue from time to time, but that doesn't mean their marriage is on the rocks.

The Real Housewives of New York City star appeared on Wednesday's episode of Watch What Happens With Andy Cohen, and responded to a Page Six report that she slapped her husband in a restaurant amid claims that they were on the verge of a split. "I did not slap him. We have a very passionate love affair going," Luann said of her 7-month marriage.

While further defending her relationship, the reality star seemed to contradict herself, exclaiming, "We never go to bed angry but when we do, when we wake up, we make up."

Cohen pressed Luann about the alleged slap in the restaurant, and she insisted that it was all "gossip" and did not happen. "I took his face in a very loving way and people took it as a slap," she explained.

Luann did confirm that she "absolutely" had an argument with Tom, 50, at a restaurant, calling it a "lovers' quarrel."

The 52-year-old TV star also went to bat for her marriage in a statement to ET. "Tom and I are in love and marriage takes work," she said. "We are working on this together."

Luann and Tom's relationship did get off to a rocky start. Months before the couple got married, Luann's RHONY co-star, Bethenny Frankel, presented her with evidence that Tom had kissed another woman. The 50-year-old businessman did admit to the tryst, blaming it on a night of heavy drinking.

In an interview with ET months prior to their wedding, Luann shared why she decided to take Tom back. “We love each other,” she said. “I always say if you can't forgive the people you love, then who can you forgive? … I'm not going to let a silly kiss ruin the rest of our lives.”
