Tiffany Haddish can't help herself from a good Groupon deal!
During her guest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday, the Girls Trip star revealed she got high and took her co-star, Jada Pinkett Smith, on a Cajun swamp tour she booked on the popular e-commerce website. The two were joined by Jada's husband, Will Smith.
"OK, so what had happened was, Jada had invited me to dinner with her and Will Smith and I thought, 'Ooh, this it. I'm about to make it,'" the 37-year-old actress joked to host Jimmy Kimmel. "I wore my best dress from China and a button popped off at dinner and they said, 'What are you doing tomorrow? We're off work.'"
"And I said, 'Well, I got me a Groupon to go on this swamp tour, so that's what I'm doing,'" Tiffany continued. "She said, 'Who you goin' with? You goin' all by yourself?' I said, 'Yeah, I'm going all by myself, girl. I ain't got no friends out here in New Orleans.'"
Jada then suggested she and Will go with her, but Tiffany didn't believe they'd actually come.
"So, the next day comes about and I smoke a whole bunch of weed because the doctor told me to and also because I thought it'd be super cool to be on a swamp and be high and the alligators would be talking to me and the birds would be singing and the raccoons would wave… it'd be like I was in a Disney movie," she explained. "I'm high as a kite, right? I'm sitting in my hotel room and then I get a phone call and it's Jada."
Tiffany continued on, telling Jimmy that since the Smiths got dinner the night before, she decided to purchase their swamp tour tickets through Groupon.
"I ate some bread and did some jumping jacks to try and sober up," Tiffany shared. "So, we pull up to the swamp tour and there's a lot of white people … Jada's looking [around] and goes, 'Tiffany, what is going on here? Why are there so many people?' And I said, 'Jada, they probably all got Groupons.'"
"And she said, 'Tiffany, what the f**k is a Groupon?" she continued. "She thought it meant you had a boat that you could take a group of people on."
