Not much else is known about Grey’s 14th season yet, except that a spinoff series has been ordered to launch from it. The spinoff will be set in a Seattle firehouse and will follow the lives of those firefighters who risk their lives to save others.

“No one can interweave the jeopardy firefighters face in the line of duty with the drama in their personal lives quite like Shonda [Rhimes], and Grey’s signature Seattle setting is the perfect backdrop for this exciting spinoff,” Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement when the show was announced. Rhimes will executive-produce the series, along with Betsy Beers.
