President Donald Trump's plan to ban transgender individuals from serving in the military is stirring plenty of reaction in Hollywood.

In a series of tweets on Wednesday, Trump announced that he will ban transgender people from serving in the United States military in "any capacity."

"After consultation with my Generals and military experts, please be advised that the United States Government will not accept or allow Transgender individuals to serve in any capacity in the U.S. Military," he tweeted. "Our military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail. Thank you."

The proposed policy is a reversal of the Obama administration's decision that would have allowed transgender individuals to serve.

Since then, celebrities such as Demi Lovato, Andy Cohen and Seth Rogen have spoken out about the news via Twitter.

"Are you TRYING to be an a**hole?" Cohen tweeted.

Meanwhile, Lovato sent out a message of support to the transgender community.

"I just want to tell the transgender community that I love you and you ARE supported no matter what. #ProtectTransTroops," she wrote.

Rogen called out Trump's daughter, Ivanka Trump, and her previous tweet showing her support for the LGBTQ community.

"I'm starting to think they don't know what these letters actually stand for," he wrote.
