The 'Shades of Blue' star's retired baseball pro beau is a true family man.

On Saturday, Jennifer Lopez shared a throwback photo of her baseball beau Alex Rodriguez snuggling with their four kids -- A-Rod's daughters, Ella, 9, and Natasha, 12, and J Lo's 9-year-old twins, Emme and Max, from her marriage to Marc Anthony. Max seemed especially taken with Rodriguez, as the little guy can be spotted cozying up to the retired New York Yankees shortstop.

"This…," Lopez captioned the sweet snap, alongside a double heart emoji.
The photo was taken during the Shades of Blue star's backyard birthday bash last week, where she celebrated with three generations of family. A-Rod and their kids sang "Happy Birthday" to Lopez while delivering a three-tier confection adorned with edible gold roses and sparklers.
The celebration came a couple of days after the couple's joint birthday party -- both Leos, Lopez turned 48 on July 24 and Rodriguez turned 42 on July 27.
